Something a little different.

A week or so ago one of the Lumberjocks, Sinister, posted a new design in cutting boards… then Black Cherry made and posted his version on lumberjocks as well…which was an oversight in the way he presented the Squares…

I was up for the challenge and created my variation of their versions.

I used Siver Ash for the main body as such… the centre square/diamond is PurpleHeart while the thin border is Tasmanian Blackwood… these are all endgrain …I then added my touch to the design by surrounding it all with a border of New Guinea Rosewood..

To see how this is made pop over to Sinister’s Blog.

Absolutely fantastic Larry, Sinister has come up with a lovely design and your take on it is impressive.
I was wondering why the lack of posts, and am pleased it was to spend more time creating sawdust and that you were not unwell.
Still waiting on my drum sander before I tackle the next end grain board, can hardly wait.
    See you in Maleny.
