That’s not a knife…


This is a Knife… well at least the handle..

I had a mate ask me to make a knife handle to replace the plastic handle he had on it..

A small block of Hairy Oak was selected and then resawn. … the two halves of the knife handle were double-stick taped together…to maintain grain pattern across both sides…..the shape drawn and cut on the bandsaw.

As he wants to do the shaping and carving, I only had to rough cut the shape…only a coupla minutes to do it.

I will post pics of the finished knife…
