Slanted Woven Dished Lazy Larry

I finished this today…

Made from recycled Silky Oak.. aka Lacewood… with accents of Silver Ash and Purpleheart…

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I glued up the weave strips then cut them at 60 degrees.. glued them up and cut a circle on the band saw…

The dishing was accomplished using a dish cutting router bit in the TWC.

I intend to blog the whole process on video when I can find some time..

I am also contemplating a book on lazy larrys and cutting boards….. what are your thoughts…??

About Lazy Larry

Just a woodworker sharing some of the things learnt the hard way... so you don't make the same mistakes...
