A Borrowed Design..

Recently there has been a spate of newish designs for cutting boards over at Lumberjocks. This particular one… a double Mobius.. was rather appealing.. so I borrowed it.. Thanks Steve!

I raced up to my workshop to make one and forgot to post a reply comment on Steve’s blog until nearly 6 hours later.. You can see his version and the inspiration for mine… here...

New Guinea Rosewood, Tasmanian Blackwood, Queensland Red Cedar with a Camphor Laurel background and a border of Crow’s Ash…

Nearing 500 mm [18 inches] in diameter and 19 mm [3/4 inch] thick… the stripes are just over 65mm [2 1/2 inch]
