Table Centrepiece.

A good mate gave me this bit of a log.. It had been split with both an axe and a chainsaw… so it was a bit rough…. but the good part was the worm trails that were revealed when the bark was removed.. I secured it to the TWC and using the surfacing cutter flattened the cut part… then cross cut the ends and book matched them…to act as legs… a few holes with a forstner bit and some tea light candles… a quick spray with some gloss poly… voile.

I then gave it back to him as a birthday present…a rustic table centre piece…

For those who want to know what type of timber….Squiggly Gum Or Scribbly Gum …. Eucalyptus Haemastoma.
