Sign for a Friend…

Please forgive the atrocious photography… I took these pics just before delivering the sign… and can’t now get a better one…

The story…

A good friend’s Father-in-Law died recently and he is interred on a hill over looking a valley with a back drop of Melaluca trees…

His surname is Grima and he now has a great View… hence the lettering of the sign…Not a long story but a nice one…

The sign was made using the copy attachment  on the TWC and only took a few minutes once set up…I finished it with two sprayed coats of exterior polyurethane…I understand he will use gold leaf to highlight the routed words…

Thanks for coming by and taking a quick look…

BTW timber is Camphor Laurel. 900 mm [3ft] by 150 mm [6 in] by 25 mm [1in]

And as usual a small teaser…3rd pic is a small box…I hope to have this finished in the next week or so… pics to follow…

Edit..

I am adding photographs of the two failed attempts…
