SPalm Double Step Board is finished…


Well, final sanding is complete and a few coats of mineral oil… ready enough to show you…and ready to ship to Newcastle for Xmas.

As I said in my blog the glue up was a lot of fun… and some slippage was inevitable but overall … not so shabby.
Timbers used were Tasmanian Blackwood, Queensland Maple and Hoop Pine.
Size is roughly 18 inches by 12 inches and just over 1 1/2 inches thick… it was thicker but with the vertical slippage lost a little height… bugger…
Last photo is a sneak peak of the one step on the angle… another SPalm design…
