A Box for Tea…


Another commission… this one is a box with dividers for different teas…

Main box is Narra [New Guinea Rosewood] with mitre splines of Purple Heart.

Not a great shot… I need practice… the top insert is Huon Pine…

Dividers are European Walnut..

Small finger grooves in the sides to enable the top to be removed…

    I’m not a tea kind of guy. Strong black coffee for me, but that’s beside the point. That’s pretty cool box to store tea in. Right down to the finger grasps. That’s one thing about your work, attention to detail. The difference between mediocre and great. GB, mike
