A Strong Aussie Dollar…

It is certainly nice to have a very strong Aussie dollar… not good for exports but certainly for imports.. now before I get bagged for saying this… let us look at some of the things we need that we have to import… for me the number one item is Titebond III glue… for the longest time it was just around the AU$ 90.00 mark for a US gallon or 3.75 ltrs…

Thanks to the strengthening dollar… it is now available from Carba-tec for AU$ 59.00….

I thought that was not a bad price reduction….. that is until a mate told me you can get it from the new MASTERS Hardware for …

Wait for it….

$30.55…… WOW….

So off I trot to Masters to check it out… and guess what… IT is all sold out… the gallons and the 500 mm size… so I go a litre bottle for 16 bucks and ordered 3 one-gallon bottles… they tell me they will be in by the first part of next week…

You got to love competition and a strong Aussie Dollar…
