Start with some Ti Tree boards.

Milled up some nice boards of Ti Tree [melaleuca bracteata.]… that I bought at the Brisbane Timber and Working With Wood show in May… got them from Roderick Carins.

Nice timber.. very dense and very heavy… but by the time it was milled it was ok…

Here are the boards in clamps, glueing up to make a 600 mm blank… this will be cut into a circle later for a really spectacular Lazy Larry..

Looks like that wood has quite a lot of color in the grain.
