Tired Feet.

Standing on concrete is a killer…NO MORE

I have got me some Anti Fatique Mats.

Picked these up from my local Clark Rubber Store… ended up with 3 sets… that is 18 squares…they connect like a jigsaw puzzle and come with edging…

Placed them in front of the table saw..

Yeah, I know the table top is filthy… I have cleaned it…will post some shots later…
Across the front of the main bench with the drill press, SCMS and sanding station.

The Jet drum sander.

The router table…

And the Thicknesser…

Might need a few more packs…

So goodbye to tired feet…

  1. That was a wise investment, Larry.

Looks like a great solution, Larry
I tried pieces of carpet. Too hard to clean and they moved around too much.
    Thanks!

Hey cool! I might have to make a trip to clark rubber meself. Will I need to sell a kidney before I go?

  4. Larry, I know this is helping you. Let me tell you a secret why it is helping you. Compared to concrete, the rubber mats do not pull heat energy away from your feet. On them your feet stay warmer. But the most important element is the flexibility of the rubber mats. No matter what footwear you have on, on the mats you can bend, flex, and stretch your foot a little more than on concrete. This little translates into a lot for the feet as they cannot tolerate sameness. Most of the problems with feet today come because of artificially flattened walking surfaces. Our feet are designed to walk and run on very irregular ground. When we stand, walk, or run on flat as a tabletop ground, feet will hurt.
