Wood trade…

Remember the purple heart I posted about a few weeks ago… it went to the Brisbane wood show…for sale… well I did not actually sell it… even though it was sold… my mate Trevor sold it and paid me with …purple heart… my bits were bigger than his but as I only use smaller pieces of timber… a swap was made… and for good measure he threw in some Tassie Blackwood…

Here are a few shot of my part of the deal…

The timber standing against the bench is the Tasmanian Blackwood… 6 long pieces and 3 short…

There is over 20 metres [60 feet] of purple heart tongue and groove decking stacked on the bench..

This deal was good for both of us… I use small profiles of timber and Trevor had some clients who needed the bigger bits…

If you and Trevor are smiling, all’s well.
