Making boxes…

I had a little fun the other day making a small box…It was for a cake of soap…yes the new Cape York Buffalo Co  … buffalo milk soap….
Downloaded a bit of software to design the box… put in the dimensions and hit “design”

That was the file that I sent to the laser and it not only cut the outside…it scored the folds and engraved…actually cut… the logo…

This is a little time consuming and not a viable packaging solution… but it was a fun exercise with the laser

The cutting was super fast but the engraving was a little slower…

And I had some more fun trying the machine with a granite tile… Need to get the settings right but it worked OK…

I never even thought about doing a box like that. What a great idea St George!

I am amazed at the control you have over the types of material which can be engraved!!
