Roma Men’s Shed Workshop Visit…

This will be a short post just to tease you about the workshop I held at the Roma and Community Men’s Shed…last week…

From the left, Alex, Neil, yours truly, Steve, King, Kenny [behind the post of the TWC] Carin and Michael.

The workshop was primarily based around the Torque WorkCentre that the club had bought at the beginning of the year and not really got around to using fully…

Part of the problem was that the machine was not tuned… not square or parallel or straight…took best part of an hour to tune the machine… explaining each adjustment as I went…

Once the machine was in tune, it was a pleasure to run through all the capabilities of the machine…

Their workshop is situated under a house that is also the home of a dance studio… music while you work…

There is also a separate building housing their office and lunch room…

I just had to take a picture with my mate Barry sitting under the sign…
