Evaluating Photo Engraving Software.

I received a trial copy of PhotoGrav this morning and am evaluating its probative value …

I have been using Universal Lasers OneTouch Photo software for a few weeks now and am happy with it but have to compare it to PhotoGrav…

First pic is a shot of the HMAS Melbourne manipulated manually and engraved using my Chinese Laser…

IMG_3373Next shot is after using PhotoGrav software and the new LaserPro machine…

Next shot was processed using One Touch Photo from Universal Lasers.

Marked difference in the first two pics but only subtle differences between the two software packages…

Do the lasers come with software?

  2. Lew says:

Looks like software can really make improvements in the engraving.

A lot of the time it is the quality of the file that make all the difference

Looks like much better optics and a larger powerband range on the new 40W laser. Nice.
