Taking a rest…

Spent a few hours yesterday cleaning up the workshop… with all the rain we had on Friday [330 mm] some came into the workshop and made a small mess…

Good time for  a Spring Clean Out… here is a pic taken by Tom, who was there to help … a mighty effort by Tom… thanks mate…

You can see me taking a short rest break at the end.IMG_2409

Not only the workshop but all the machinery got a good going over, service and clean…

Also spent some time on the dust collection system… emptied the drum, bag and cleaned the filter… then check and adjusted all the blast gates…

Most of the blast gates were not shutting properly due to dust and shavings caught in the back of the gate… leading to a loss of air flow…

IMG_4249A little tip from Stu of Stu’s Shed… cut the corners offIMG_4250… the gate then clears any chips as it closes…
