Setting up in the wee hours of the morning at Manly Boat Harbour….
First day at the Jan Powers Manly Farmers Market….
A self-guided Interpretive QR Trail was created to support the cultural and educational aspect which aims to provide visitors to the island an authentic and thought-provoking experience. Twelve points of interest were identifed throughout the campground. Each bollard was constructed using environmentally friendly cypress pine and lasered with the official Minjerribah logo. Letters A to L guide campers through the camp ground as they scan a QR code linking to a supporting webpage.
The self-guided Interpretive Trail aims to provide an additional activity for visitors to Amity Point. By providing this material in a aesthetically pleasing and minimalistic design, campers are able to explore and learn about Quandamooka country and culture at their leisure.
As well as the 47 keepsake boxes and 20 coffee condiment boxes I have on order this month … decided to make some on my own account for stock to sell at the markets…
Here are a few that I took to Carseldine and Red Hill markets this weekend…
Playing around with the laser engraver and some veneers, this is what I came up with…
Engraved and cut quite a few more and will make them into a wall hanging or a tray…
